There are many ways I do this; my most common is to call on the cloak of the Crone to blanket me. But this time I decided to pick a card as well. I got the Six of Wands. To me this was the Crone saying, rather than invoke the cloak of darkness try evoking it - generating that cloak, that shield, from the power already inside me. I only had to draw it out, or push it out - to contact that darkness, that deep strength and infinite potential that lives within me, within each cell of my body, and let it grow and grow until it infused and enveloped me. |
